FiestaMk7.com

If you have arrived here from FiestaMk7.com, this is the new home of all of the info that was on it, condensed into a useful menu for now with links back to the forum. Read only. Will be slowly transferring all useful info to pages on this site as a static site.

Originally started back in 2010, it was once a busy forum, with various ups and downs. In its early years, it had a lot of web traffic, we had window stickers, competitions, supplier discounts, meetups and overall was a great community.

Nowadays, (2025), it’s pretty static. Facebook groups and pages have probably taken most of the traffic. Maintaining phpBB along with the associated php versions, hosting issues, mailsend issues, spam, security vulnerabilities and lastly, just life / priorities has made me take the decision to do this. Like the Fiesta itself, maybe the forum will forever last in memory, even though the Fiesta has reached the end of the line.

Forums are not dead, but in this instance pretty stale. I salute everyone that has contributed over the years.

For now the domain is pointed to here, info all still accessible

What is a Mk7 Fiesta?

When I initially started the forum, this became a bit of a topic.

In the UK, generally, we know the Fiesta as:

UKGeneration
Mk1 – 1976 – 19831st Gen
Mk2 – 1983 to 1989 – including Xr22nd Gen
Mk3 – 1989 to 1996 – including Xr2i, RS Turbo, RS1800, Si.3rd Gen (Codename – BE13) Sometimes referred to as GFJ
Mk3.5 – 1994 to 19963rd Gen with various changes
MK4 – 1996 to 19994th Gen (BE91)
Mk5 – 1999 to 2002 – including Zetec S4th Gen facelift (BE91)
Mk6 – 2002 to 2008 – including the Zetec S, ST1505th Gen (BE256)
Mk7 – 2008 to 20136th Gen (B299-hatchback) (B409 sedan)
Mk7.5 – 2013 to 2017 – Including the ST180/ST2006th Gen facelift (B479)
Mk8 – 2017 till end of production7th Gen (B479)

Where things get a bit tricky is that the Mk4/5 is essentially the same car. Mk5 has updated headlights & bumpers, but it stood out as a new version and became known as the Mk5.

In some regions, where they refer to it all by generations that brings everything after down a notch and sometimes the Mk7 Fiesta, is known as the Mk6. And so on.
